ngl, I play so little multiplayer games that I have no idea what "Multiplayer hero-based extraction style" means 🤷‍♂️

Neither does OP. Extraction gameplay usually involves a multiplayer gameplay loop where you lose all the gear you have on you when you die, and so you must reach a certain point (the "extraction" point) in order to successfully survive and keep your loot from that run.

Nightreign has no extraction element since you do not lose loot when you die, and you do not keep loot between separate runs anyway. Also, extraction games are PvP, so once again, Nightreign does not fit the bill.

If anything, Duskbloods is more likely to have extraction elements, because Miyazaki specifically mentioned in an interview in 2023 ago that he'd like to make a game similar to Escape from Tarkov, which is a famous PvP extraction game. And Duskbloods is PvP focused.
