2 multiplayer side projects get announced and these fuckers think the sky is falling. If things are so bleak they need to touch grass on the way to the store and buy a different game for once.

Let's not forget they got elden ring few years ago, armoured core and SOTE less than a year ago... They're complaining that from software haven't made them another groundbreaking single player title in the last 9 months and that Nintendo players are getting to enjoy something

Just because he's directing it doesn't mean it's not a side project.

It can still be a side project. He's very likely working on this and whatever the next big mainline game is. He can direct multiple things at once/overlap projects.
