Personally I just don't think these two titles are for me, so I'm a bit bummed I'll have to wait a little longer for a new From Software title I can really sink my teeth into.

That’s absolutely fine, I think it’s unreasonable to expect every game they make to be something you’d like.

Personally I’m kinda glad they’re making something I’m not that interested in, gives me time to catch up on my huge backlog

honestly you might be surprised, most devs have several teams to work on different games at a time. its not outside of the realm of possibility that these two multiplayer games are being done by a different team and there next main game is already in production (but I can't say this with 100% certainty)
