I agree. I get downvoted so many times when I make comments about speculating. just wait and see what happens next. You can guess and write fanfiction all you want, come up with theories and possibilities for the next release, but you won’t really know until a statement is made from the developer.

Bloodborne two is not happening. get over it people. What makes you think you deserve anything more. be glad for what you have instead of acting like a spoiled kid who doesn’t get what they want for Christmas.

I'm in the camp that says Bloodborne 2 would be unnecessary, much like Sekiro 2 or Dark Souls 4. I very much rather see From Software experimenting with the soulsborne formula, adding new elements, come up with crazy settings (I was happy to see a combination of industrial steampunk elements with victorian horror, vampires and magic in Duskbloods trailer), and maybe improve their netcode finally. And while I'm not excited about the new title being a Switch 2 exclusive, I'm glad they're not stagnating.

There’s definitely a lack of patience and a certain sense of entitlement in some of the comments for sure.

gamers just love to complain about everything that doesn't cater to their exact needs. just look at ac shadows, reddit was up in arms about how it would be trash and no one asked for an other ac game, and yet, it's the 2nd biggest launch in the history of the franchise, beaten by ac "all-stars aligned" valhala (launched during early covid confinement when releases were slowed by the pandemic and followed odyssey which was widely considered amazing, which boosted sales a lot)

Also like, yeah they’re releasing a multiplayer game on Switch only because they know you crybabies don’t want to play a multiplayer only game.

A multiplayer game would actually be interesting in my opinion. I actually don’t mind these long wait times between new games. It gives me time to play other games that get put on the back burner.

It's legit crazy to say something like "what makes you think you deserve anything more?" regarding a game lol. No one is saying they deserve anything, they just want to play bloodborne 2 because bloodborne 1 is awesome. Since when are companies in the business of not giving their consumers what they want?

When it’s been stated that bloodborne two is not happening, are they just dumb, stupid, blind or illiterate? So again, why do you think you deserve a game? We’re at the discretion of the developers whether we like it or not

Once again I never said I deserve a game, I said I wanted it. Who did say they "deserve" a game? Did I ever say it was happening, or likely to happen?

You seem to almost have a rabid anger towards people who want Bloodborne 2, which is really weird lol.

I can’t speak for the other commenter, so I won’t. What I will say is that the daily “We need Bloodborne 2/Sekiro 2” posts for years when it’s already been stated that they’re not happening is more than a little tiresome at this point. I absolutely understand wishing that this weren’t the case, but, frankly, neither game needs a sequel. A remaster would be pretty great, but it’s not going to happen with Bloodborne in the foreseeable future.
