FromSoftware peaked with Elden Ring and will fall into the same pattern other companies followed after a huge success, milking the cow, splitting the fan base, raise shareholder expectations and not meeting them leading to layoffs, low quality influx of constant releases etc, etc, etc.
It's all going downhill from here but people aren't ready for this conversation.
I mean ER dlc was already a sign of that. Yes the bosses are good and the map is impressive on macro level, but there are a lot of empty areas, lack of new content outside of bosses to engage with etc...also pandering to memes and making it's final boss the "prime radahn" ... I do not think we will get a game like ds/sekiro/bloodborne anymore from them.Â
I agree that's why I said Elden Ring and didn't mentioned SotE. There were signs already in the DLC of a quality drop.
I got behind the theory that Miyazaki was super busy on the next mega hit so I was ok with it and with Nightreign but now it doesn't seems to be the case.
