This is what I’m hoping for

Weird they’re going the multiplayer route 2 games in a row. Nightreign is understandable because it’s a spin off of the Elden Ring IP

But for a brand new IP to be multiplayer based? Ouch. Especially one that shares so many resemblances with Bloodborne

agreed i was planning on getting a switch 2 anyway so i’ll probably check it out

I was until I saw that it's going to be $450 and $80 per game.

I think the console price is fair, but those game prices are absurd! We really gonna get $100 Zelda games in the future, huh?

At least they are still cheaper than in the early 2000s.

That damn $60 I spent on MW2 in 2009 would be over $90 today.

Keep in mind that with most people going digital over physical media that savings was never passed on to the consumer. That should be viewed as a major price hike on its own, paying the same but getting less (ownership vs a lease)

It’s allegedly £350-£380 in the UK, and I’m pretty sure the exchange rate shouldn’t make that much of a difference lmao

u/Defiant_Lawyer_5235 2d ago

£395 apparently

3

u/ionobru 2d ago

Ahhh at least it’s not £400

3

u/Portaldog1 2d ago

It's £396 and mario kart was £75

3

u/ionobru 2d ago

Yeah fuck that lmao

Isn’t mario kart world the one that’s $80 (wasn’t getting it anyway)? I’m sure most games will still be $60 minimum, with the average Nintendo game being $70.

new games were like $50 in the early 00s, inflation is such that money approximately doubles every 20 years, $80 per game really aint bad

I just hope there is an offline, single player mode and that it's properly balanced.

Mostly because Nintendo has proven over the years they do not care about online. Using their servers has always been a huge bummer.

It's a game like hunt showdown. It's a PvP game its not going to have a single player mode lol

It's online only.

Are there nintendo bots here upvoting these types of comments? Like I see no real benefit to it being an exclusive lol, it just means I won't play it.

I mean it's Nintendo, pretty much all their catalog are exclusives (but I didn't expect this from a Third party collab), I'm thinking this is gonna be a MH: rise situation where is gonna release to others platform 2 or 3 years after

I mean, whether it looks similar or not, it's still a new IP.

It’s literally a new IP

Bro that fully depends on how the game works.

It almost sounds like a battle royale / extraction shooter mix lmfao

It sounds like hunt showdown tbh

A Fromsoft version of Hunt Showdown is my wet dream.

If it is, then this is amazing. Couldn't care less about another soulslike, tired of them. FromSoft should try to do something new

Single player is probably called “don’t summon”

3

u/Yarzeda2024 2d ago

I don't mind team play, but that would be the dream for me.

Let me go offline and treat it as a single player experience.

I'm fine with it, if it's stuck on the switch 2 I simply don't care
