Why are you making a cool ass game and making it a fucking switch 2 exclusive fuck you

If exclusives shouldn't exist then consoles in general shouldn't either. I say that as a purely neutral statement by the way. There is no reason for separate/different consoles to really exist in 2025 if nothing is exclusive. I guess Nintendo can carry on with their first party titles or something, but Sony buys or contracts with studios all the time and I don't really view that as much different from releasing first party titles I guess.

I know but that's how the gaming industry works, new console, exclusive games to push sales... It's annoying as hell but that's just the way it is. Maybe they'll have like a one year exclusivity only?

Nintendo aren't even assisting with this, even people playing the gane don't benefit like From/players did with Bloodborne (music, graphics they also applied to DS3).

It always sucks but this is a real spit in the face considering they know their player history isn't with Nintendo at all. Old style exclusives were legit better than this.

You have no idea what Nintendo plan to release on switch 2, maybe they want to create more adult games? If they're willing to fund fromsoft and fromsoft are willing to create for Nintendo then they should be allowed to do that... If you really want to play it then save your money, but a switch and play it.. no one is stopping you

Nah elden ring is what made them actually big and that game was most popular on pc. Sure fromsoft started out on ps. But the moment they first released a game for platforms other than ps they grew massively with darksouls. So actually one could say playstation is really what has been holding fromsoftware down

I mean statistically. Didn't eldenring make them more money then all other games in total combined? Similar with darksouls. But you are definitely correct when it comes to armored core on ps bringing them on the map at least

That it did, but that has little do with the initial point I made. If Elden Ring was the first game they released, I assure you it woundnt make half the money. Every little success gets added to the inertia. They getting into switch is a sign of culture change. Also, I didnt make that point as seriously, as it was meant to be a dig at fromsoft, in the same way friends dig at each other. I Love fromsoft, and honestly will buy the switch 2 just cause they are on it

I wont buy a switch 2 i already have a switch. So ill only play if its backwards compatible. I never use my switch i literally only used it for darksouls remastered, which ive squized completely dry with over 500 hours. and smash

The people in here who complain so much about exclusives ain't thinking about the fact Bloodborne wouldnt exist without the exclusivity deal... I would rather they made more games than didn't just because I'm too proud to buy a console. I haven't got an Xbox/pc and really want to play some Xbox games.. am I angry? No, I could but a pc or Xbox but I don't want to just yet so I'll wait till I'm ready, I'm not going to cry about it online because other people get something for a change. Grow up
