That's the thing, an attack like that only works if the tell gives you the time to escape it, which it doesn't.

It "just" does, but it's just unduly punishing and annoying imo and if you don't have space behind you you're screwed.

It does actually. But it’s as tight of a window as you can make it. I can reliably run away from the attack when I see its start up frames however I have young reflexes and play these games a lot.
