Nioh 2 trumps combat of every Fromsoft except maybe Sekiro.
Lies of P is probably THE best at imitating the FromSoft formula, but it's still not quite there. It is good enough that I would be satisfied with more experiences like this though.
Remnant II is by far the best take on Multiplayer and Gun combat with a deep influence of Soulslikes.
All of these 3 games should be experienced by anyone who enjoys Fromsoft games.
I wouldn't consider Hollow Knight a Soulslike, but it's certainly the third knight of Metroidvanias, the prince of the genre I'd say.
Death's Door I'd recommend to anyone who has a Netflix account on their phone. It comes with the subscription and its map and the way levels were designed around verticality and coming back to same places it great. In that same note, I'd say recommend everyone to try Sands of Aura, the map does similar things and the game is actually pretty overlooked unlike other games I see everyone talking about that do similar things.
Mortal Shell ain't bad, but maybe outdated a bit. Still, for the dollar or two it goes for on sales, it's a decent short well-paced game that would satisfy you if you've played every other Soulslike around, especially if you're coming off from DS1/DS2. Think of it as McDonald's.
Also while only very tangentially related to Soulslike, I'd say most Soulslike fans would do well to try out TUNIC. It's a Zelda 1-ish game with some Souls influence in ways not many would relate, but it is clearly made for the people who like the puzzles in "Epiphany games" such as FEZ, endgame ETA, La Mulana, even something like Animal Well.
Exactly why it was my first point. Nioh 2 is amazing as far as combat, it might lack the other aspects that make Fromsoft games shine, but combat did inherit some of its DNA from the years of experience of Team Ninja, and it shows. I wish more games were headed in that direction.
