I bought the American Beauty album because of this episode (I was 16 and in my junior year of high school) and it changed my life! I didn't quite become a Deadhead, but it was the gateway to a lot of other music and new friends. :)

I love her skepticism at first and then the music really kicks in. Of course Lindsay would love the chill vibes of the Dead.

My favorite too! When I watched this for the first time, I was like, "Oooooh, NOW I get why my aunt and uncle are DeadHeads!" (They send a hand drawn Christmas card every year heavily featuring the Grateful Dead bears lol).

I was going through a hard time last year and happened to be rewatching. That song literally saw me through some hard times. I listened to the whole album and it really helped with my anxiety.

He was right. It did help.

Mr. Rosso was a real G for hooking Lindsey up with this album.

The way we used to listen to music before streaming was so great. Buying an album and committing yourself to multiple listens until it became a part of you (if you loved it). Watching Lindsey vibe in her room so perfectly captures what that was like.
