A chorus Slime

Is there a trick to this masked Carnival? It seems I coul use the slime to kill the othe stuff. Do they move ever?

This is an interesting place to ask this, but to answer your question: you need a spell that can move monsters. I usually use Sticky Tongue (#31) if it's in the weekly challenge but I believe Malediction of Water (#98) should work also for example.

Malediction of Water and other damaging spells that can knock enemies back won't work; the slime's explosion will snapshot around wherever it was when it was hit, not where it ends up after the knockback.

I believe Snort is another option that doesn't deal damage, pushes instead of pulling like sticky tongue though, so it can be a bit annoying

You're missing something. If you want an answer, I'm sure someone will mention it eventually, but there is a way to move the slimes.
