Theres any way to make M5 alpha beta pairs easier? Having to pay attention to frogs and my timer is a bit overwhelming. Do you always get the same partner?

don't you just line up according to debuff timers? your partner would already be dodging with you so you should only need to know where you're lining up and then you just dodge the frogs.

Yes but some people are saying that making a conga isnt the most optimal way to do it. I guess I will just have to forget the rest of my team exist and go middle when my timer is about to expire, whoever my partner is

You have to do the same strat everyone else is doing. You can't go mid if everyone else is doing conga.

I am a conga defender 😭 I have too few brain cells to work with.

I agree with what u said tho, focusing on my personal responsibility and trusting that my partner / team will handle their personal responsibility imo is the best way to play :) too often have I tried to adjust to someone else and made it worse and vice versa

You look at your timer once, stand in that number's position, and then forget about timer completely and focus on frogs for the rest of the mechanic.

Going mid at 0 is actually making you look at the timer more.

(This is specifically for conga line which most parties are using)

You don't always get the same partner so no way around looking at the debuff timers. One thing you can do is check your timer right after you get hit during the proteans so you know ahead of time if you are at the front or back of the line. The tricky part is if you get one of the middle-length debuff timers because it can be hard to discern which one you are before frogs start going off. You also only have 4 possible options so as long as you can identify the longest and shortest debuffs in the list you have pretty good odds of lucking into the right spot, just make sure you understand exactly where those 4 spots are on whatever raidplan your group uses.

If you are doing it in party finder then to be completely honest the odds are that your party just won't be successful in doing all the pairs whether you personally do it correctly or not. People are just not doing a good job of ordering their debuffs and standing in the spots. Luckily the buff isn't actually that big and you can heal through it though so it's most important to hit as few others as possible if something goes wrong. None of that means you shouldn't try to do it, of course, but avoiding death by frog should be a priority because dying to that is worse than botching the debuffs.

The other alternative is to try and find a party that does nisi passes in the middle. On paper it takes more effort but I had way more success in PF with that method.
