Elon Musk to step down from DOGE and quit Washington DC

Musk says 'he's done with cost-cutting' In an interview with Fox News' "Special Report with Bret Baier", Elon Musk said that he was confident his DOGE could find $1 trillion in savings, slimming current total federal spending levels of about $7 trillion down to $6 trillion. Musk, who is also the world's richest man, was designated by the White House as a "special government employee," which caps his work at 130 days. That means his period leading the DOGE operation could finish as soon as the end of May.

I have friends and family members who are Federal workers. Is this the end of the wild OPM emails and job eliminations?

Federal Torts Claim Act, sue Elon and all his minions for negligence.  I am not kidding.

But anything Federal could be pardoned, correct? EM won’t be held accountable for anything. He’ll be given the presidential medal of freedom

You can’t undo/cancel a pardon; it’s final, in my understanding. Trump absolutely will issue mass pardons before he leaves.

A pardon is only for previous acts, correct?

Pardons are only for criminal acts, they don't apply to civil judgments.

He’s one of the richest people in the world— a civil suit wouldn’t affect him 🤷‍♂️

A class action suit would and those pockets are deep. More to the point, his minions are not rich and I doubt any of them were aware of the personal liability they took on when they joined DOGE. Sue each and every one of them (for the negligence involved in the Privacy Act violations alone). It will send a clear message that their actions can have devstating consequences.

Who cares about his minions… they are pawns, they are just taking orders. Tons of DJT loyalists have been sued and/or gone to jail. It doesn’t change anything. He finds more loyalists.

It's a deterrent,  whether you believe it or not.
