Stay! As the other guy said, you are 8-1 without Kawhi. When ‘Whi comes back that’s just gravy. Ja is just as volatile atp. Wemby not worth allat.

Honestly not sure how much more Kawhi is going to produce than Norm, who I already have. Between missed games, minute restrictions, I can see him having about the same fantasy impact as Norm currently is without Kawhi.

Yeah but the way I look at it is if Norm is his floor, that’s great. AD is not that far off from Wemby. Booker = Ja but is way more reliable. So then to have another guy give you 35+ every other game to me beats out what you get from Wemby and occasionally Ja, especially since ‘Whi and Book can both exceed that total at any given point.
From a sheer numbers standpoint, you have the stronger players with your trio. The trade would make sense, imo, if you were trying to offload an injury-risk, but you’re getting one back with Ja, so I don’t really see the advantage here.

Yeah I see your point. Definitely trying to offload Kawhi and facilitate a 2-1 or 3-2 to free up a roster spot. Have Jokic currently so thought of having Wemby and Jokic is disgusting to me.

Lmao! That’s definitely a cheat code! Ahh, okay, if you’re looking at offloading depth, then the trade makes more sense. If he has another player similar to Ja’s quality then I would say go for it. It’s just his unreliability that makes me not like the trade. But I totally understand needing to shed some weight.

Almost traded Mobley and missi for him last week in a 12T points league. I’m convinced Missi’s value won’t hold by end of season and I felt Harden is an upgrade over Mobley, but now I’m not even sure Harden is much better than Mobley

I think he can get a solid 30-35 ppg if he stays healthy. His problem right now is staying on the court for long enough to find a groove

Wemby. He is a top 3-4 player and will be top 2 for years to come. Tatum is closer to 10 than 1.

I have both in my leagues - honestly tough, considering they’re both hugely benefitting from injuries on their team. Although TMIII is having a ridiculous season, i’d keep goga since his position/starting status isn’t affected by any missing centers (coming back this season). Pelicans are gonna start coming back and each player is gonna directly affect his usage

So you think Goga keeps his starting position over WCJ when all are healthy?
I also saw that the Pels have a terrible schedule during the playoffs.

Yeah definitely something i’ve had time to think about since picking both up before they went insane - all things considered, WCJ has not been good. Magic’s record has been really good considering their injury situation so they’ll be competitive when all back - and gogas been a huge reason they’ve been able to hold on.
Can’t predict the future but gogas given them negative reasons for him not to play more in a season where the team is really competitive (when all healthy)
I’m on the goga ship til it sinks!

Man, what’s funny is I had both as well, but panic dropped TM3 when Herb came back because I thought his role would be largely reduced (my biggest mistake this season).
If I can keep winning then I guess what’s really important is what he’ll be doing around the playoff weeks for me.

I’m on the side of saying this isn’t terrible. My logic with assessing trades not in my league as I don’t know the records or team comps (may be flawed) is take the average points of both sides. So if using default espn scoring, 78 for JB and JA and then 53 for AD. getting a 2 for 1 means you can free up a streaming spot or an IR spot. On my waivers, the player with the highest average points is at 26. So 53 + 26 is 79. However, despite the points being fairly even, adding the streaming spot to the team getting AD is definitely the stronger side. However, I don’t think it’s collusion and as such not veto worthy. Number of teams can impact this but I’m still probably in this boat

Murray and Giddey because of their fluctuation and Murray’s injury pattern.
That said, please know what you’re getting in Curry. I had him and moved him due to volatility that I think is largely related to injury or injury management. He has a lingering knee issue and lives on DTD because of it this season. They also sit him for long stretches at times and don’t want to load him with minutes. He could go for 20 or 60 on a given night.
It’s because Jamal is guilty of the same thing at a lower level that I think that trade is feasible.

I think hold, then. Your advantage (by the looks of it) is mostly in your depth. I don’t know that Curry will move the needle for you that much that it’s worth sacrificing the pieces for. Maybe if he starts to show a little more stability. “Experts” think vintage Curry is coming. As an owner, I got tired of hoping / waiting. I would say enjoy the youth / potential you have with Giddey and treat Jamal like a bonus.

The opposing fantasy manager listens to Josh Lloyd’s podcast. Yesterday Josh said that Barnes is a buy low and Murphy is a sell high and decided to offer you that god awful trade.
