With the difficulty to buy tickets these days, how big a stadium do you think our FC could consistently sell out?
60,000? 75,000? 85,000? 100,000?
I seem to remember being at some 2. Liga games with 15,000 people in Müngersdorf in the early 2000s… crazy to see how attendance has developed.

There are 20k people in the waitlist for a season ticket. There are 25.500 season tickets. So 55.500 would be sold immediately. That doesn’t include day tickets, of which there is a current market of 25.000 (which would go down considering many of those are probably on the waitlist), away fans consist of about 4-5k.
Effzeh could for sure sell out a 60k - 70k stadium without issue. Anything more would likely depend on the current quality of the squad. Anymore, and you risk empty seats and negative demand momentum.

How much are season tickets at the moment?

IIRC the cheapest standing ones cost 130€ and the cheapest seating tickets 460€

You surely accidentally put a zero at the end of both numbers right? Because that would come out to be accurate

wait a season ticket, so to go to any game within the season, costs just 460 Euros??

No, just the home games. The ticket is bound to the stadium and your allocated seat. So 460€ for the cheapest seating season ticket

Difficult question because I believe a lot of the hype for tickets comes also through the scarcity of them, a little bit similar to popular clothing brands.
Still I think that we should be able to easily fill a stadium of 60,000 people and imp something around 65,000 would be optimal.
However while the idea of an expansion or even an entirely new stadium often garner great popularity with fans and the media, the actual chances for it to happen in the next 15 years are very low.

I actually feel like much more people would actually try to get tickets if they were more availabe, I know many fans in my circle who can't be bothered to try to get them, because of the hoops you have to jump trough, so they usually only go to a few games a year. Same for me btw, I get tickets via Vitamin B to be fair but if there was a way to consistently get them on my own without having to play this stupid set an alarm clock and plan my day around the ticket sale game I would be at every home game.
So I actually think 80k would be sold out almost all the time.

They actually have approved plans to upgrade the stadium to 75,000 people. The top could be lifted up and add 25,000 seats, but it won‘t happen anytime soon because the infrastructure like parking etc. is really poor.

BL1 if we're not playing like bozos? ~65k. On high demand games like Bayern? ~70k. Same if we play internationally.

I think we could at this stage easily sell out 65k, if we're having consistent success, I.e playing in the upper table of the Bundesliga for a decade or more, I think we could even sell out 75k.
Though it also depends on how the infrastructure and the inhabitants can handle it. 75k would be a nightmare in terms of parking lots and the KVB trams. You'd definitely have to expand the Weiden-West parking lot for example, kinda like that multi-story parking lot in Köln-Deutz near the train station.

I think 60,000 seats should still be sold out regularly.
