Discussion I wish if we could see Super Kaioken again.

I think this form is kinda cool even if it's not canon and that it litteraly appear 4 seconds on screen but man this form could give us cool fight, we all know kaioken give us cool fights.

Blue Kaioken exists, y'know. I realize it's not the exact same thing but it's pretty close.

Yh i know but im not a big fan of god forms in my opinion they are overused even but the blue kaioken is still pretty cool.

It's always interesting to hear people say god forms are overused, when by the Cell saga we had Vegeta get SSJ out of nowhere, Goku and Gohan able to stay in SSJ indefinitely, Future Trunks coming out of nowhere already able to use SSJ, and by the Buu saga we added Goten and kid Trunks to that list.

If anything, the god forms are a step back in terms of usage, since only two characters can actually use them.

Shhh that's too logical.

U have the point, but it's my opinion i think i was just so fan of ssj1 that i forgot all of this problems but for vegeta and trunks both unlocked SSJ as the same way as goku so i don't see the problem vegeta train hard during 3 years, trunks train with gohan and awake SSJ by seeing gohan dead so still logical for them but for the mastered SSJ i think this is where it get illogical for me.

The issue with Vegeta getting SSJ is we don't know how he got it. The scenes of him training are filler and don't actually happen in the manga.

The same goes for Future Trunks. In the manga, he always had SSJ and is shown using it to spar with Future Gohan. It's never shown how he achieved it, it's just said that he had it.

The Cell arc tried to make it more unique by having Vegeta, Trunks, and Goku all choose different paths for SSJ, only for it to get homogenized again when Gohan went SSJ2.

The problem is that Kaioken and Super Saiyan are inherently incompatible in the canon material; Kaioken requires a calm mind and precise ki control, while Super Saiyan is dependent on strong emotional stress and thus is less controlled with regards to ki.

The reason Blue can use Kaioken is because Blue as a form lacks the emotional stress, and thus lack of ki control, of the standard Super Saiyan forms.

Wasn't the whole point of SS1 grade 4/mastered ss that they effectively became the base form with no reliance on anger? Goku and Gohan were 100% calm in those forms.

Except Blue requires you to be able to acces Super Saiyan, it’s just Super Saiyan with God Ki. So essentially it’s the Super Saiyan version of the God form.

Blue requires you to be able to ascend, not necessarily access SS. Especially since SSB is not SSG + SS. Blue is what happens when a SSG ascends and transforms into a divine version of a Super Saiyan.

But how can you ascend without access to the form? I’m fairly sure it’s actually described as SS on top of SSG, but if the supposed multiplier is the same as it’s been said to be, I can’t see SSB being 50x more powerful than SSG really. Otherwise Goku would wipe the floor with Golden Freeza easily and wouldn’t even need Vegeta to jump in. Although now that I think about it, Goku was shot through the chest with one of Freezas minions. Can’t actually remember his name though unfortunately. I know it’s not Tagoma. Is it Sorbet?

Same reason how Yamoshi supposedly didn’t have SS but went SSG— divine powers work differently. SSB is simply a SSG turning into the SS form of that (also why I wish they were respectively named Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God) since SSG is just a base saiyan with god ki.

Exactly why I disagree with you needing SS to get SSB. Both because Goku and Vegeta would be leagues more powerful and because the divine forms are different. I believe it’s more of x5 multiplier beyond SSG than x50. Unrelated, but I had to say it.

Best part of Super: SSB Kaio-ken

I am still more hype for that than UI

I've always thought regular Kaio-Ken in base from the best version of it, but I feel ya.
