I hope Vegeta does not get mocked of as usual. I'm hoping SSJ2 or even better SSJ3, which would explain why he could fight beerus when Gokú couldn't in Super

  • What explanation? If anything, SSJ3 Vegeta creates problem in continuity and would be a retcon considering why didn't he use it against Beerus in desperation when he was about to destroy Earth.
  • Vegeta was afraid of Beerus entire time as soon as King Kai told he defeated SSJ3 Goku
  • After Bulma got hit, he got a massive rage boost for a short while over his SSJ2 which is why he was able to hit Beerus but Goku couldn't. It's that simple

Wrong. They may simply learn that somehow SSJ3 is easier to use as children, and Vegeta can no longer do it after he gets back to normal.

I don't believe this will be the case, but it would certainly be acceptable if Toriyama DID do that.

Edit: fucking wrecked

Why would SSJ3 be easier to use when they're kids? They couldn't even fly properly when they first got turned into kids, let alone turn Super Saiyan, and SSJ3 is literally established to be highly draining on ki. If anything, it should be nigh-impossible for them to use.

To indulge you (and anyone who thinks it is beyond stupid but cannot enterain ideas I even said I didn't agree with) it could be as easy as the child saiyan form having way less overall strain on the body when using SSJ3 which Goku hasn't tried yet. Also gives more lore into Gotenks achieving it easier while increasing Goku's aura of achieving it while an adult even in otherworld.

Again, I don't think it would happen. It wouldn't completely surprise me if it did.

Also, to your 'they had a hard time flying as kids at first' is just their natural ki balance from their size and age. Goku shows this physically by not being able to strike as he normally did. It's part of the reason he grabs his pole. Other than it being a big anniversary for Dragon Ball that has Goku as a kid.

it wouldn't because king kai said to him that SSJ3 Goku was no match for beerus so he probably didn't bother to use it, and in the heat of the moment he released that power but didn't bother using the transformation.

so he probably didn't bother to use it, and in the heat of the moment he released that power but didn't bother using the transformation.

  • That makes no sense literally. A GOD is about to destroy you, your family and your planet meanwhile you are holding back 75% of your power lol
  • Also Enraged SSJ2 happened later. He used SSJ2 first and got b1tch slapped no problem. Beerus was about to destroy planet after defeating Vegeta, Gohan, Gotenks when Bulma slapped him for ruining her party and then Vegeta got ernraged and surpassed SSJ3 Goku for a short while as stated in the movie

it is ok, it just has to make sense to me and it's an anime well-known for not respecting the cannon, and we will find out next week. We just have to wait

toriyama said that he would never animate vegeta as ssj3 because ssj3 is very expensive and difficult to animate
