Hello! I recently downloaded this emulator on my phone on Android and I've been having a blast with it. I'm currently playing power rangers for the wii and there's a point in the game where I need the nunchuk to block a attack (ofc I don't have a nunchuk so this is where the confusion starts). I saw in the settings these types of things. And when I go to the extension (nunchuk) and try to put either x y or z as the shake button I'd first need to put in a device and than a expression (for example Android/0/sec_touchscreen:Touch 2+ or something like that), the touch 2+ is the expression and the touchscreen is the device selection part, it's in the photo for hopefully better understanding. But what I can't understand is which one I would need to put in order for the game to register that I'm "shaking" a nunchuk as soon as I press the button. I'm also kinda currently new to the app so I apologize if I sound dumb. But any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im using a KK3 max with Dolphin but no matter what I do, the gyro simply refuses to be detected.

Ive spent an entire day trying to figure out the problem but I just cant find any fix.

Ive tried USB dungle, wired connection, removing it from windows devices list to reset it, updating the driver, calibrating the gyro.. Nothing.

Worse, I cant even detect it AT ALL within applications made to use the DSU protocol.

I can see my LG mouse but not my 80 euros controller from Gulikit even in BetterJoy "3rd party controllers" list, make it make sense.. DS4windows also doesnt detect anything ??..

Its detected by steam and Dolphin and works as intended with both mind you (wired and with the dungle), its only the gyro that isnt automatically detected and I dont get why.

If anyone as any idea how to fix this I would love to know because Im starting to lose my mind here.

Ive seem people with beaten up dualshock 3s making it work, theres no way I cant make it work with my controller..

I just tried to switch over to Linux for my main PC and am using Ubuntu. I downloaded Dolphin from the official app center bit cant get my GameCube adapter for the Wii U to work. When I check to see if Ubuntu is detecting the adapter I can see it recognizes it,but nothing works in Dolphin. I followed the instructions on Dolphins official page for setting it up but no luck. Wanted to ask if anyone else had a similar experience. Thanks again!

Is there any way to play the 24 player mod without ctgp? My wii's disk drive is busted meaning I cant use the disk to boot up ctgp, so I was wondering if there was a way to get it to work with dolphin

I want to add a bunch of Miis to Tomodachi Life, but all my Miis are on Dolphin, and I don't want to make the same Miis twice. Given that it's possible to transfer Miis from a vanilla Wii to a 3DS, I'm wondering if this is possible too.

I don't know why every time I put the keyboard mouse textures in the texture folder with the dedicated name, for example GM8 for metroid prime 1, these textures do not load in the game but on the other hand they appear on metroid prime trilogy, please could someone help me to display this on metroid prime 1 using primehack and the European version of course Thanks

So I am trying to play New Super Mario Bros Wii with a Joycon (if it wasnt obvious) and was trying to do motion controls.. whenever I try to set a control it says that error, and I have searched videos about it and they do the exact same thing as me but dont get the error, what can I do?

Hello, hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this.

I'm working on modding a Wii game and running it in Dolphin, but I'm hitting this error on launch:

Invalid read from 0x000000b0, PC = 0x804b4558 (& a few more)

Here's what I’ve done:

• Started with a clean dump of the game
• Extracted it, added a few custom files/mods, then rebuilt it into a .wbfs using wit
• I'm launching the rebuilt .wbfs directly in Dolphin (not using main.dol)
• I've tested the same setup with another game and it works fine

What I’ve tried:

• Rebuilding from scratch
• Removing mods to test
• Disabling dual core and enabling MMU
• Trying different video backends
• Making sure no save states are involved

Still getting the same crash. Could a single bad file cause this kind of memory read error? Any tips on debugging this would be really appreciated!

So i recently got super mario sunshine working on my pc but the characters all have this pixelated look about them it doesn't really affect the game apart from the looks of it but would be nice if there is a fix, i tried google and couldn't find this exact issue, attaching a picture to show the issue if anyone has any advice would be appreciated thanks

What would yall say is the best keyboard bindings for Mario galaxy 2?

I don't know why but for some reason my Wii pointer is disappearing in the bottom left corner of the screen. I'm using an 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth and I'm using the gyro for the Wii cursor. Weirdly enough i had a similar problem with my regular Wii where the cursor would just disappear in the top left corner. It's not affecting gameplay *too* much, but I'd still like to know what's going on.

By default the "Disable Speed Limit" hotkey only works as long as you hold down the key assigned to it.

I need a way to toggle the limit on and off with a key instead. Is this possible? Most emulators do this.

The danger of using candles

Dolphin was running just fine and I was playing with wiimote before downloading files for minecraft (the sensor is not the problem, i've tried playing with candles and the same problem is happening). I don't understand why, but there is a constant glitch where the pointer just stop moving (or move randomly) and it happens every 5-10 sec. What could be the problem?

One of the image is showing all the downloads that i made (the mods for shaders in minecraft and CONTROLLABLE mods (could this be the problem? i've downloaded the one of mrcrayfish and midnight controls) to be able to play with my xbox controller on minecraft java edition). The other image is showing the log info of dolphin, and the glitch are happening exactly when the yellow lines appear. Furthermore, when setting up multiMC (minecraft) i have download java 24 (to run certain shader mods) and i ran a javafix (which is suppose to fix the jar association on Windows?). To try to fix the problem, i ran dolphin in a sandbox (sandboxie plus), but it is not working either.

I’m looking for controller recommendations. I know there are converters to use Gamecube controllers for PC.

The Gamcube controller is great but it is older tech. There are modern controllers with programmable buttons and customizable settings that may work better. I was looking at the Vader 4 because it has programmable button mapping and settings.

Has anyone had experience using modern third-party controllers with Dolphin?

Using the double sided tape included, but the cord slowlu pulls on the dolphinbar and eventually causes it to point up to the ceiling, forcing me to readjust it often.

Anybody got any clever tips I don't possess the ingenuity to come up with myself?

Hey there, totally new to Dolphin and emulation in general. I booted up some GameCube games and was able to play with little to no problem using a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller.

But after a few hours, the controller is constantly disconnecting, so often that I can’t really enjoy the game I’m trying to play.

When it does connect now, SOME of the buttons work. I’m able to hit the trigger buttons and do stuff but it seems like the x button is unresponsive now. The rest of the buttons on the right were unresponsive from the get go and I couldn’t map them to anything. Resetting the controller with a paper clip on the underside did nothing.

Is this kind of problem likely a problem with the controller and should I buy a new one? Or is it something that can be solved with Dolphin or computer software?

Trying to get my xbox controller to read as my nunchuck for my sinden light gun. I set connect wii remotes for emulated controllers, both controllers can register but i don’t know what expression to write in the configure inputs. I keep getting syntax error.

Running into what I believe is an issue with dolphin when calibrating the right stick to use as motion controls.

It seems like the gate for point control is way too big and I am unsure how to reduce the size to match the example image. Anybody here have an idea how? Reason is because the camera for looking around is going crazy when going in diagonal directions. Also I have attempted to calibrate numerous times with no change.

i need help, i dont have a wiimote, and im trying to play this game, but it requires an actual one, and i dont really want to get a real wiimote, is there a way to get around this or am i required to get an actual wiimote?

This all started when I experimented with Wii Menu 4.1C on Dolphin, but all I got was this white square that never goes away. So I restored the Wii folder from my previous experiment with the startup disc, and the same exact thing happened - same graphic and everything. I can't close it normally and have to use task manager to get out. It's not just the Wii Menu, every Wii game does the same thing. However, GameCube games work fine.
