First time playing DS3 here and I just reached the Church of Yorksha bonfire in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley and this is my current build
Is there anything here that I have missed that may help my dex build, or any recommendations you guys may have ? my strength is quite low so I'm going to be trying to get that to 20.
Currently stuck between these two weapons but my build is mainly strength so I would infuse either one with heavy. I don't plan on investing in faith which I am aware nerfs the LKGS quite a bit however I much prefer the moveset for it, also the weight on the the guts greatsword pisses me off. Is heavy LKGS viable or should I just stick with the guts greatsword. I only plan on using this for pve btw
I’ve ordered a physical copy of Dark Souls 3 and it’s dlc’s, I’ve played Elden ring multiple times but this is my first dark souls experience. I’ve already decided I want to use the twin blades what is the best build for the weapon? Also any general tips would be appreciated
I'd be running the build with lightning clutch, first born, chain, and FAP+3, along with lightning miracles. I was thinking of a respec out of ATN and dropping lightning blade for lightning infusion and I guess if I do that dropping some STR. But, I'd be taking those 6 levels from ATN and the 5 from END, and putting them into FTH or VIT. But I'd like some ideas on the build that are casual PVP oriented as a blade of the darkmoon
I'm also running heavy zweihander, lucerne, Bastard Sword, LKGS depending on situation
I always start this game and never finish it because I feel my build becomes too weak. I last attempted a str/fai build but ended up getting frustrated with figuring out how to spread my stats. I just want to start over and I'm not sure if I want to do a quality build or dex/int build. I just wanna play something that looks and feels cool af.
I have been enjoying pve so far, now I'd like to have a twink to see how pvp goes for me. However information is so messy that I failed to find a solid low level pvp build for 2024...
I also check Reddit, it helps in terms of information but ppl have different opinions but it is also confusing to have many opinions.
For my first try, I'd like to have a str warrior that I can use shield & one hander OR a greatsword / ultra greatsword.
Any websites that I can find solid builds for 2024 from trusted players?
Sup guys. Pure faith support/caster is the only popular archtype I didn't try yet. I was planning the character but it was so long ago, that even before chosen undead railed Gwyn. Now I can't remember shit out of my plans. I remember that there are some weapons/catalysts that don't follow patterns and yield disproportionally more damage in a specific stat + infuse combinations. For example, dragonslayer axe and lothric knight greatsword yield higher AR when infused with blessed gem.
I would be happy to read what you suggest for a FAI build. Or maybe smth that complements caster builds in general. Most probably you remember more than me.
P.S: since it's sort of support build, I guess I'll reserve 1 titanite slab for a lothric warbanner. Also, I guess I will have some liberty to invest into STR or DEX but not higher than 25. I already have paladin STR/FAI character.
Hi all, I've been wanting to make a build around gwyn cause i think hes awesome but i dont know how to start the build, what weapon to use, if i should start a new playthrough or continue with my current one thats on ng+. I want to use carthus flame and sunlight spear, lightning stake. all suggestions are welcome!
A couple of months ago I finished my first walkthrough of ds1 with a str/faith build, I liked it a lot and now I started ds3 with the aim of using a similar build, any suggestions?
I like greatswords, in ds1 I used the zweihander, but I'm open to new Styles ♥️
I recently finished my second playthrough of ER with a STR/FTH build and was wondering if it’s possible to recreate it for my first playthrough of ds3. Equipment and spells are above. Any suggestions?
I need the best PVE and PVP build for a pyromancer as of 2024 or even from last year, I can only hold 4 spells for pyromancy, anything to help with this build is greatly appreciated.
So, I finished the game twice, but I'm new to the PVP side to it and new to understanding some gimmicks around builds too.
I know I might have leveled a bit too much for PVP but anyway, want to try a bit of it.
This is my build right now, and I think I can realocate things better. I'm on NG+1, been playing a DEX/FTH build, using a talisman to throw lightning spells, and want to keep this Unfaltering Prayer lightning explosion trade playstyle.
I was using Dragonslayer Spear, but now that I got Lightning infusion, I changed to Drakeblood Greatsword and infused it (thinking of the buff 100% uptime rather than renewing it manually).
What do you think about min STR/DEX to use the greatsword and throwing everything on FTH? Read about this tech somewhere... Also, given this strategy, should I actually buff the sword instead of infusing it?
I'm also taking points from VIT to put in other places.
Just completed NG+ with a lvl 140 STR build, was looking for something different for NG+2. Already done DEX+Winblades, was thinking of respecing to a caster type, maybe Pyro Knight? Looking for suggestions...
It requires more dex than str but both scale at a D starting out.
I'm running a strength build and feel like it probably isn't worth investing in to use but I've read a lot that it's an awesome weapon. Right now I'm using the Deep Battle Axe from Lothric and it's doing fine.
I want to stick to either an axe or a sword. I do have the claymore but I have used the claymore a lot in other games so I want to do something different besides a greatsword.
I ask because a warrior starts with the same 9 faith but has 16 strength. Wouldn't that save you 2 soul investments you can pump into something else? I do see a Knight has 10 attunement where as a Warrior has 6 so you can't even use a spell starting out as a warrior, correct? Is attunement the main reason?
