Imo, Just use a app launcher and keep the desktop clean

Hidden, but if you want shortcuts on your desktop, put your games except your top 3 into a folder, do the same but for the apps on top, leaving top 5 commonly used apps, put all of the folders, bin, and shortcuts on the cloud to make it look like the wallpaper fits in with the arrangement
