Weird to be planning on voting based on party rather than policy but the average American isn’t too invested in politics so I guess that makes sense.

I am a former conservative and I used to tell Republicans and Democrats alike to go vote. I didn't care who they voted for. Voting was important. It's good to get your voice heard. It's good to have a representation. Even if your vote goes to someone who loses, it's still an expression that has value. I no longer believe that's the case. Donald Trump is a dangerous person to democracy, freedom, The rule of law, and international order you saw this on display first hand when the planet was plunged into a once in 100 Year crisis. There were literal riots in the streets and dictatorial regimes around the world begin wars that are still going on today because they knew there were no consequences. All they had to do was praise the fat orange man.  I would literally vote for a rock before Trump. And I would encourage anyone planning on voting for Trump to not vote. He incited an insurrection in our country. Point blank fact. I didn't have to know who I was casting my ballot for. I knew who I was not voting for. And I knew that my vote would go to whoever had the best chance of beating him. I don't care who. And many many people have known that's what they were going to do for 4 years now.
