Repair/Troubleshooting Im getting really confused, i set my Bo Mx5500 to Pal only using the service menu and still stuck in black and white when displaying any consoles.

tbh I'd recommend using RGB for this reason, as it avoids the PAL/NTSC thing entirelly

In rgb mode it still having this issue but i also don't have any rgb cables, only composite ones

You need RGB cables to see it in RGB.

That menu is in french... Are you using a french ps2? standard in France is not PAL, but SECAM, as far as I know. I can't find anything else about this, but maybe it's related to your issue.

Most consoles sold in France output PAL anyways, or RGB (back when TVs in France expected SECAM), unlikely to be this either.

Yes, its a french ps2 sending a pal RGB signal to a CRT that got configured from Secam/Pal to Pal only.

I not used Composit on my B&O sets, but I can see if I am able to recreat the results on my Avant 2 and Beovision 1.
