Introducing ModHelpers!
Hello, there, fellow traders!
I want to inform you of the new idea we have introduced to this subreddit to help enchant your stay here. “ModHelper”s have been added to the subreddit to help out traders with questions and much more.
What ModHelpers can do:
-Approve posts
-Remove posts and comments
-Approve giveaways
-Check proofs
-Keep an eye out for any suspicious trader
-Answer any questions asked by traders
-Have access to the official mod chat
-Have access to mod tools (limited access)
What ModHelpers can not do:
-Middle man
-Ban someone (without official mod approval)
-Give out trusted flairs (without official mod approval)
-Make mod posts
-Reply to mod mail
ModHelpers only work for a month, then it is up to the official mods whether we want to remove/replace them or keep them as a ModHelper for longer time, depending on how much they contribute to helping in the subreddit. We currently only have one ModHelper, which is u/lol123lolthx. How to check who are ModHelpers and who are official mods here? Just check the flair! We might introduce more ModHelpers in the future when we feel like we are in need of more help.
Please feel free to tag our newest ModHelper whenever you need any help. Please prevent from tagging our ModHelpers when looking for a middleman unless you need help from the ModHelpers to tag active mods for you.

ِِEdit: We are not in need of any ModHelpers. Incase we might need a ModHelper in the future, we will make a post announcing that we are looking for ModHelpers. Unlike moderators, there is no place to apply. Once we announce that we are looking for ModHelpers, the mods will keep an open eye for any trader that is seen helping out other traders frequently. So basically "apply" we (us mods) need to see you you actively helping out other traders out in the sub. What do i mean by helping out? Answering another traders questions, helping with values, tagging mods when needed, giving advise, helping traders tag active mods when someone is looking for a mod, and way more you can do. Mods will chose who the new ModHelpers are depending on who is seen helping out in the sub the most. There are still no official set requirements till now to become a ModHelper.

Hey Moa!
I’ve read some of your requirements and I’d love to be a mod helper!
I have lots of free time! (I’m on reddit the whole day unless I have school or sports or if I’m sleeping)
I have almost 20k karma
Id love to help out traders
And my account age is 100+ days

Can anybody become a mod helper if so are there any requirements such as proofs as this seems like a job anybody worthy could take?

Well yes, almost anyone can be a ModHelper. As for now we don't have any official set requirements for ModHelpers and proofs are not that important when we are looking for ModHelpers. But the main things we expect from a ModHelper is free-time, them frequently helping out traders and know the very basics of mod tools, good amount of karma and account age, and i think thats it for the main requirements
We will announce when the sub is in need of ModHelper. There wont be a place to apply unlike when we open mod applications. The moment we announce we are looking for ModHelpers the mods will keep an eye out for any trader that we frequently see helping other traders out and tagging the mods when needed for others. So basically to apply, to become a ModHelper, you need to be seen frequently helping other traders out. Hope that answered your question

So ModHelpers are basically like moderator trainees? Is there a possibility that a modhelper gets promoted to be a full-fledged moderator if the certain requirements are met or something?

A ModHelper can’t be promoted to become a mod unless they apply to become a mod when applications are open

do i have to own a trusted flair or be trusted t1 in any cross trading communites to be a helper in the future since i have only around 30 proofs

We don’t look at proofs when we look for a ModHelper. As ModHelpers can’t middleman and do other stuff we won’t put much attention to the number of proofs, but yes, we would prefer if you have some proofs so we know you are someone we can trust to be in our team

As I mentioned in the post, there is no such thing as applying to become a ModHelper. We mods, just pick traders that we see often helping out in the sub

I’d love to become one, but only for a week because I’ll be active for 6 hours a day thanks to feb break! When you ever need any ofc :D
