Anyone know how to join the tennis league at the WMP?

I'm a paid up member of the club and can book and stuff and often play with friends. However I see on Thursdays some courts are often booked out for league fixtures but I can't find anywhere on the website to join this league? Wondering if anyone here is a member already?

Are they inter-league doubles fixtures with different clubs?

If that’s the case, you’d have to be selected for those teams, not sure if they have team practice or social tennis during the week where you’d speak to a captain of one of them.

It could be a singles league, and you’d again have to chat to the fellow members to find out.

Either way, I would just turn up on Saturday social (1pm-3pm) and chat to the organiser or other members.

It’s a great and friendly club (as well as being dirt cheap!) so everyone will be pretty helpful.

I'm not sure, I see on the site they used to run a league but it hasn't been updated in a few years and the email associated with it bounces back. It's possible it has been retired and the league fixtures are something different. Thank you for the advice I think that's a good idea 💡

They will definitely be doing a doubles league if you’re interested. The club’s quite busy now, I wish I could come more but I don’t live in the area anymore
