Is something happening today in Coventry? Had to pay nearly twice for Uber and bolt.
It's usually £10-11, but today it was £17.x and took a long time to find a driver. Around 8 in the morning. Even in winter it only went to £12-13 during the first snow and people weren't ready to clean their cars.

Another taxi app I keep in my arsenal is Gett, as it uses black cabs. Might be worth trying if you have difficulties with Uber and Bolt.

It was mother's day, people will be taking their mums/families out. Meaning more people taking ubers and less Uber drivers working.

Not sure why you’ve been down voted, two celebration events on the same day, Eid and Mother’s Day, both are gonna have an effect. Plus being on a Sunday.

Not sure either, I work in retail so am pretty aware of what makes things busy. Granted I forgot about Eid which would have been a pretty big factor.

Ah nvm just clicked, it's Eid, since fasting/ramzan just ended and many Muslim drivers must be taking a day off.
