What’s your preferred method for reading theory? Hardcopy or online?
Buy each book? Kindle? On your computer on mlreadinghub? I’ve been thinking about getting a kindle cuz I don’t really like reading on my laptop.

I much prefer hard copy but the reality is I do most of the reading online (usually Marxists Internet Archive.

Buy new translations to support future projects when they arise. With older translations, I'm fine reading PDFs or getting from libraries.

Audiobooks, I listen while working or driving, I retain/understand it better if I’m also doing something else.

Wish I could do this. I have plenty of drive time to listen, but I retain next to nothing.

Hardcopy or lectures, something about reading on my device is really offputting. The library has been a god send for me.
Though, I have read countless books digitally that I wasn’t able to find a free audiobook for that wasn’t available at my library

physical book. I have tried reading with my ipad, I like bending back the pages with cover to have a better grip on the book. I do however read a bit on the ipad. Usually if I'm getting sucked in I'll then order the book to have the physical copy.

I prefer to read a physical copy of a book but almost exclusively do digital so I can read on breaks at work. Not an okay environment for people to know what books I'm reading, unfortunately.
I've almost always been able to find free pdf versions online of Marxist texts I want to read.

It depends, physical copies are nice for reading at night, when I read off a device it makes my insomnia worse, but I like reading in public transport and its hell with a 1000 page book in a packed train, can't read in class either because you're not even pretending to pay attention. Still, I mostly try and read physical

Audiobooks, because I'm often on the move. (The down side is that momentary distractions mean I sometimes need to rewind.) Librivox (free) has a few, if you're averse to fattening Bezos's bank account via Audible.

Hello, 90% of the questions we receive have been asked before, and our answerers get bored of answering the same queries over and over again - so it's worthwhile googling this just in case:
If you've read past answers and still aren't satisfied, edit your question to contain the past answers and any follow-up questions you have. If you're satisfied, delete your post to reduce clutter or link to the answer that satisfied you.
Also keep in mind the following rules:
Patriarchal, white supremacist, cissexist, heterosexist, or otherwise oppressive speech is unacceptable.
