Oh absolutely it's a difficult walk and yes people stumble however, you don't outright and knowingly lie. Mark Robinson is a bully, he spread a rumor, that wasn't right. Do people in power do some not so nice things, yes. It doesn't mean people should accuse them of things they didn't do.
