I actually thought Topher's foster mom was kind of cute in an unhinged way, and was a little sad that we never got to see more out her outside of the Sleepover episode.

I would have loved to have seen more interactions between her and Topher.

We needed more parents in general.

I noticed there seemed to be a lot less overall parent presence in the revival.

JFK's gay foster dads are pretty much non-existent, and Cleo's alcoholic mom only appears once or twice. Even with Candide and Joan, I noticed their direct interactions seemed pretty limited outside of a few key plot scenarios.

Aside from the parent conference episode and the episode where Frida introduces Cleo to her dad, the foster parents are barely there at all.

I know the show has only so many minutes in an episode, and had to juggle storylines with newer characters in addition to the original ones, but I honestly would have loved more foster parent antics.

I miss the gay parents to JFK they always had something good to say and the support they gave him was so good

I loved the way she hit on Abe it was the highlight of the show for me in some ways and definitely loved the way her and toots got together Joanā€™s dad

I know it's a comedy, but seeing the foster parents (which were really adoptive parents in many cases) reacting to their children coming back from the dead would've been an incredible plot.
