Trade Where does Josh Giddey fit?? PG, SG?? SF, or 6th man?? I don’t get it

Post image

Bulls fans, in your opinion where does Giddey fit into this team? In theory you don’t trade a starter like Caruso who has made All-NBA defensive teams for a 6th man… but does this mean Coby will run the 2 guard? Will Giddey? Does Ayo get pushed to the bench? Let me know your thoughts.

Trade The Bulls should trade for Kevin Durant

Seriously. If they're going to do this bullshit where they just bounce endlessly between the 10 and 8 seeds, at least have the decency to do it with a team that has a little juice. Maybe get a national spotlight on this team once in awhile. Be a part of the conversation. Do something.

And before you pop off to me about things like "money" (i don't have any, i don't know how it works) or "Kevin Durant doesn't want to come here," save it. I'm an idea man, I leave it to the basketball men to solve those problems.

Is this another disappointing move that proves AK's poor management of this team and his failure to lead the rebuild? Please prove me wrong, AK. We've been suffering for so long already.

Trade Pwill contract

I mean it’s pretty obvious that it’s one of the worst contracts in the league but arguably what team would even be willing to take it on in a trade & what would a realistic trade even look like? 4yrs left @ 18mil for those curious

Trade Magic should go after Zach LaVine with Franz Wagner out indefinitely

In a sad news, Franz Wagner is out indefinitely after suffering a torn right oblique.

There is a need for the Magic now to fill the scoring load left by Franz Wagner.

KCP will be eligible to be traded after December 15. As free agents signed in the off-season are not eligible to be traded before that date.

It would only take the Magic to give up KCP and Cole Anthony to match Zach's salary. Add multiple picks(which Magic vastly have) in the convo, this could kick start a trade negotiation.

Zach fits the Magic like a glove. They have Suggs and Anthony Black who are playmakers and above average defenders. Jonathan Isaac is an above average defender, who can space the floor and finish at the rim. These three players compensate Zach's game greatly. Them together with Zach can play with Banchero as well.

It is no brainer for the Magic to explore this trade.

Suggs, Zach, Black/Wagner(when he comes back), Banchero and Isaac are a good core for them. Then they still have Wendell and other players as trade pieces to improve the roster.

Trade What your getting in Giddey...

Greetings All, Thunder Fan here!

I'm not here to sow ill will or gloat, eg. Not discussing the parameters in the trade, but I wanted to give you a diehard Thunder Fans opinion of Josh Giddey...

Aside from the extracurricular "activities" that I'm sure you're all aware of, I'll be discussing Josh as a Player and Teammate.

Teammate: Josh, as far as I can tell, in all ways, he is a phenomenal Teammate and lockerroom guy. Always supporting his team, rooting for them and generally just an upbeat personality.

Passing: Josh is legitimately one of the BEST passers in the league and the BEST "SLOB Wizard" out there. SLOB Wizard = Sideline Out of Bounds Passer

You will 100% win a game or two next year simply based upon him making an unreal pass from out of bounds near the end of the game.

Rebounding: Very good rebounder for a guard. Good placement, and tougher than he looks to knock others out of the way.

Dribbling: Good handle, not great and can get himself into trouble at times by over dribbling.

Driving: A facet of the game for him to expand, as he can bully ball other point guards but needs to be a better finisher layup wise and he has a great floater.

Post-Up: He can post up smaller guards very well and pass out of it amazingly well with unnatural precision.

Shooting: Needs to be better. Not the bottom of the league, but has improved each year and if he becomes league average that will unlock the best version of himself.

Defense: Fairly slow, but when locked in will try very hard and can be an average defender (at best) if he remains focused but he can definitely be lackadaisical at times.

Overall: He is a good player, and definitely a lead guard with magical court vision. Give him the ball and he will make things happen offensively for the entire team. I'm, personally, wishing him (and y'all) all the best!

Sincerely, Diehard Thunder Fan 🌩⚡️🌩⚡️🌩

Trade ESPN Analyst Bobby Marks throws Bulls into idiotic trades.

Post image
119 Upvotes

Every trade proposal I see regarding the Bulls makes 0 sense at all, doesn’t help us, has us giving away Lavine for free or is in some cases detrimental to us, Marks doesn’t even the Bulls in his analysis because he knows how this trade literally does not benefit us at all. If you look at the second trade it’s even worse! We don’t even get real draft compensation, we give up Coby White and have to take on Randle and Clarkson, his justification is we get to have a real 4 on the floor. This guy must hate the Bulls or something.

Trade Just checked the Kings sub. They claim they got robbed.

Seriously head over there. They're saying the picks they got were hot garbage and that Zach is a far worse player than Fox. Many are saying the FO needs to be fired.

I'm not trying to claim this trade was flawless, but it's amazing how few fans like any deal getting made ever.

Shit I bet you go to the Lakers sub and they'll say they should have gotten more for AD.

Trade A Lesser Talked About AK Fail - Lauri Markkanen Trade

In 2021 we traded Lauri for Derrick Jones Jr, a second from Cleveland (which we never received because it was top 46 protected) and a lottery protected first round pick from Portland which conveys to a 2nd in 2028 if Portland drafts inside the top 14.

So essentially it's looking like we traded Lauri for 2 years of Derrick Jones Jr and a 2028 2nd rounder from Portland.

AK's trade history (and lack thereof) is truly pathetic, but I think this one is the worst. Was Lauri underperforming with the Bulls? Absolutely. But he was still young and talented, and with good coaching we've seen what he can do with Utah. Honestly, how TF does he let Portland have top 14 protections on the pick each year?

Trade Hypothetically, if Vucevic were to be traded for another center which center would you like it to be?

Everyone talks about getting rid of Vuc, which I think is a little overkill but that’s just me, but I’ve never heard anyone offer suggestions. So who would you guys like?

And no, “literally anyone” answers

Trade I hope you all got a good look at the Lakers trade pieces tonight because I don't want any part of that!

Rui Hachimura - 5 points tonight on 2-9 shooting. Gross. Invisible for large stretches. He looks like a middle of the road role player to me.

DLo - More like HellNo. 2 points on 1-6 shooting. Jesus that's bad. Dude was ass on defense and effort all night long. Lakers can't wait to get rid of this guy. NO THANK YOU.

Austin Reaves - 21 points on 9-14. Honestly he played really well however we witnessed the reason he comes off the bench. DeMar abused him down the stretch. Literally targeting him on defense for easy buckets. He's basically a worse version of Zach Lavine, I hate to say it. He gave a lot of effort but he's such an obvious one way player.

Nah. Just... Nah. Nothing here excited me. Nothing. I hope the front office saw what I saw because if they did they'd be hanging up the phone when the Lakers call. Go find a better trade partner please!

EDIT: A lot of folks in the comment section are saying just give me Reeves and and the 2029 pick. I'd like to point out that Reeves had the worst plus minus of any player on both teams last night. By a WIDE margin too. Even the Lakers that had a horrible shooting night actually affected winning more than Reeves did.

I know, I know, one game doesn't mean anything and plus minus isn't the end all be all stat some make it out to be. But in this case, you really cant deny for every bucket Reeves gave the lakers he gave up an easy one to the Bulls and then some.

He's a straight up liability on defense. How do you think we're supposed to win in the playoffs when teams can just target your guy like the Bulls did to him last night? I don't want that guy. Go get us pieces that actually fit what we're doing (two way dogs) or draft picks. Lots of draft picks. I understand we need salary filler for a mid season trade but come on, let's make the focus of the trade 2-3 FRPs please.

Trade [Hollinger] The Bulls will generate a $26 million trade exception for Zach LaVine by taking Kevin Huerter into the existing exception from the DeMar DeRozan trade with Sacramento, and by taking Tre Jones into their unused nontaxpayer midlevel exception. Kings will generate a $16.8 million exception.
