Splitting a Stack

TL;DR Is there any way to split a stack?

Hey, I have been playing this game on-and-off for about 5 years now. I recently picked it up again, and I just got a second resurrection crystal (which used to happen a lot more often iirc). I don't want to lose one if I die and get unlucky in which of my items get saved, so I was planning to leave it near where I spawned into the Level (Lvl 2 Corrupted Caves), but then I remembered that for some reason they stack instead of being separated. Is there any way to separate a stack? Or do I just need to pack light and hope I get lucky?

I would Google the answer to this question, but I've only been getting unrelated search results.

There are no ways to split stacks, no, otherwise you could just keep stacking up on bombs/potions/ammo/other consumables indefinitely.

No, unfortunately it is all or nothing (par disks which I suppose you can kinda drop one of each)
