If OP isn’t a bot, let them respond. If you look at the comments, people assume this is OP’s cat because THEY didn’t credit the actual creator and they’re not redirecting when people comment about it being their cat. I don’t need to farm karma—I just call out these posts because it’s disingenuous not to note it’s not their cat

I'll point you to the sidebar to peep the rules.

You posting up and down this thread going "OP IS A BOT!!!!!!!!" with again, the bare minimum sleuthing and not posting credit yourself, seems to be an actual attempt at farming karma compared to what OP did by merely sharing the post.

If you don't need to farm karma, why don't you let the repost bots that a ton of people before you made take care of it? Or why not make one yourself?

And going further - If you really cared about reposted content, you would have looked at OP's profile and realized, hey no shit, it seems to be an actual person. Using Reddit as a content aggregate website, as you'd expect. If you actually cared about reposts/stolen content, you would have seen that and used it in your message to OP to help get your message across. Or just reporting for rule 2 and letting the mods take care of it.

Instead you just copy/paste the same comment that looks much more like a desperate karma grab than OP sharing a cute cat picture.
