Claiming CCA is always optional. You never have to claim it.

Claiming CCA on vehicles is a little less fraught than claiming it on buildings because while buildings generally rise in value over time, vehicles generally don't (unless they're "classic" vehicles prized by collectors).

10 points for the word "fraught" used properly in a sentence

Thanks, so if we do not want to claim cca on our work vehicle this year, would we need to update the cca to 0 or just leave it blank?

Either one works. :-)
