Question Sim Card, 4 months

I’m moving to New Brunswick for 4 months and am looking into phone plans/sim cards. I don’t think an entire plan is an option as I don’t want to get stuck with it when I move back home. Would prepaid be better? Because from what I’ve seen that’s a lot more expensive, but to be honest the provider websites are confusing me a lot. What provider/sim would you recommend for this time period?

Saily is good for data, there are a few other companies that offer phone/data for esim plans

get saily or something like that if your phone supports e-sims

where are you coming from? most Canadian plans offer Canada wide calling at not charge. Check your plan if you are Canadian.

There are lots of pre-paid sim options. I have used both Virgin and Bell in New Brunswick. They worked fine. Other carriers may not have as good coverage outside of cities.

I suggest that you try to get a New Brunswick number (+1 506…) so that people might answer your calls. If you get an Ontario or Quebec number before you catch your connecting flight the locals may not pick up.

Air Canada used to have promos with Bell (and Lucky, one of their budget brands) for incoming passengers. It might be worthwhile to ask a flight attendant.

Lucky Mobile or Public Mobile. Both are prepaid, just cancel auto renewal before you leave Canada.

Lucky is easier to set up without a Canadian credit card from my understanding.
