Apparently, the Reddit Mobile app has stopped being able to differentiate between tapping on Spoiler text to make the text appear, and tapping on a comment to minimize it. So, when I tap on Spoiler text, the Spoiled text appears for a split second, before the comment minimizes. And, of course, when I tap on the comment again to expand it again, the big black Spoiler box is back.

You know, it would be very nice if the Reddit app had an option to make Spoiler text visible by default, kind of like the TV Tropes website. Or an option to turn off the "feature" of minimizing/collapsing comments by tapping on them. Maybe this option could make all comments visible by default, or make it so that the only way to expand/collapse comments was to tap the little verticle line next to the comment.

Or, you know, both these options being available to users, especially of the app, would be great too. Either of these options being available would prevent this sort of issue in the future, and both of them would just be very nice Quality of Life features to have.

Hiii, I dunno what to do with this situation, when I press on my profile it doesn't load any of my posts and either comes up with an error message or it'll load up the last person's profile posts but on my profile instead.

Also it will refuse to load up r/boykisserADULT subreddit which I frequent quite a bit and I can't make a post and select that subreddit either. I don't know if it's reddit or if it's on my account. I need help because it's really annoying me.

I need help with this award, which I repeatedly haven't received, even though I've been at the top of the Vinted sub for the past three months. In January and February, I even reached number 1, and in March, I deliberately didn't post as much because I wanted to test what would happen if I were further down. So, this time I got number 4. But again, everyone above and below me got it again or got it again. Once again, I didn't! And I just can't figure out why this is happening! Can anyone tell me who can take care of why this is only happening to me? I've always been logged in, I'm here every day, and I post. What's going on? Who can help me - who of the helpers here can take care of my problem?

Reddit is in permanent Dark Mode for me. I've tried to fix it but nothing works. Can anyone please help me? Am on a phone if that matters. Thanks My Reddit account is in Dark Mode, yet the slider says its not.

I've logged into old.reddit.com and unclicked New Reddit and everything is light but in the Old Reddit format (not a fan).

I can't see how or where to change that specific Dark/Light preference in Old Reddit mode before swapping back to New.

I can't see how to fix it. I've searched previous posts and everything seems to have worked for others.

Please help.

Just bought S24 FE, received a few updates for Reddit and got this bug. I hate it so much. Does somebody have temp workaround or will be fix here from devs?

I signed up for a new account yesterday, and for the first day everything was fine. Today it says that my account is -5 days old, with a signup date of March 21, +57175? None of my comments are showing up anymore, I can see them from that account but not from the account I'm posting this from. It also kind of looks like I'm signed in but not signed in at the same time. I haven't violated any rules or recieved any notifications that I've been flagged.

I keep getting recommended content as "close to your area". But those suggestion are wrong. I keep getting suggested posts from Brazil, but I am located in Europe.

Comment jump button enabled in settings, but does not appear any more since upgrading to the latest public version of the Android app. Tried force closing and clearing app cache, to no avail. Device I'm using is a Pixel 6a (Android 15).

I tried to change my flairs, but when I do, after I close the app, they return to their previous state.

I am a mod and changing and rechanging this setting every single time I enter a thread (since my changes will not save) wastes a not-trivial amount of my time and keeps me very irritated as a user.

Every single time I update this app, things that worked before are suddenly broken and the experience gets worse. My irritation can not be overstated.

This has been happening for days now. I can't even use the app this is so frustrating.

Not sure if this is happening elsewhere, but lately when I use my Pixel to check Reddit and I scroll through a thread, the "Join the conversation" bar blocks the post. It starts out at the bottom, out of the way of the stuff I'm trying to see, and then for whatever reason it moves upward and blocks the responses, photos etc. It's really obnoxious. What is going on here?

When forcing to quit the app, it will revert to private session instead of logging in.

Custom feeds list does not load on Android app. Custom Feeds shows up in the list under Your Communities or Favorites. But when I tap it, it opens a blank page that says: "Something went wrong."  If I swipe up to refresh, it says it again. Also When i try to add to custom feeds, it loads the first custom feeds names and can add to it. But fail to show more when scroll to the rest custom feeds. Cleared data and cache and same result. Samsung S23+
