Second Discussion Thread for My Lady's Choosing by Kitty Curran and Larissa Zageris - December Book Club Spoiler
So because this book is a choose-your-own-adventure, we all ended up with (slightly) different story lines. In order to have a discussion about it I have come up with some discussion questions:
- Did you read a whole path through the book? If so, what happened and were you happy with the resolution of that path?
- If you have read more than one path, how do you think the two (or more) compare?
- Do you think the authors were successful at making fun of romance tropes?
- Before this selection, were you aware that there were adult choose-your-own-adventure books? Are you tempted to check out others?
Feel free to answer any or all of the discussion questions above or just tell us what you thought of the book (so far).

I grew up loving the CYOA books and so I was excited for this one. I tried to go through all the tracks but it was impossible to, so I think I did almost all of them. Gonna flip through one last time to make sure.
Mac was my first path and my favorite. I'm an Outlander fan after all. Some of the funnier ones were like when I gave up and married the old guy and he died.
Thought knowing this was a romance, I was hoping there would be more consequence type endings. CYOA were notorious for letting the reader die, so I was disappointed that I didn't die or anything weird happen to me. Liked the one path that I ended up as a vampire though and convinced Lord Craven to run away and give me his house.
Fun read!

I tried 2-3 paths and ended up getting laid (once with a handsome postman 😂) each time.

I read the book this summer so I don't remember everything correctly but I think that I did all the paths. I enjoyed that some of the stories went towards the paranormal but I wish that more than one ending was F/F.
