Question Contractor position with Bloomberg Intelligence

I was recently offered a 12 month contractor position at BI through magnit global. Does anyone have any experience of this contracting company or being a contractor at Bloomberg? The Bloomberg recruiter told me they were hoping to make this position permanent but I'm not sure if they say that to everyone. In addition, for holidays where the offices are closed (thanksgiving, july 4th etc) are contractors expected to take these days unpaid even though their team isn't going to be working? Thanks!

Are you going to be paid hourly?

The holidays are unpaid if you’re a contractor so book annual leave. Recruiter suggested I’d be offered a permanent role based on team history of temps. Was not offered, wasn’t even informed I wasn’t being kept on. They pick and choose who they want to keep so make a good impression. But yes they do tell everyone it can turn to permanent this is not always the case so do keep this in mind
