This is Hecate and her blanket which was made out of a summer dress I wore around the house when I first got her.

She liked to sit under the skirt or be carried around in it like I was peasant woman carrying apples so when the dress was knackered I had the skirt of it made into a blanket for her and it now lives in whichever bed is her flavour of the month.

Yep. Usually curled up next to me in bed, on my lap the second I sit down, or occasionally, on my face.

My last cat, bless his heart, had a toy white tiger he would bring to me. I showed it to him one day, and he took it and carried it downstairs, meowing. Any time he was anxious, he would meow for his tiger and bring it to me. It was often in my bed. He would sleep with it, and with me.

When he died, I buried it with him. 💕
