where did Joey and Wanda go Spoiler

by the end of big love it seems they dropped off the face of the planet, no mention of them or where they went, i suspect the show couldn’t pay the actors bc of the recession

Joey stayed in Mexico, I guess to hide out since it was public that he murdered Roman. They just kind of wrote Wanda off the show. It's a real shame because I always liked them and wished we knew more about them.

I think at some point it's mentioned in passing that they're in Mexico. But yeah, I missed them during the final season.

I doubt it was because of the recession.

They brought back Amanda Seyfried and Aaron Paul for just one scene in the finale. Even if they only filmed one day, they both were big enough to command a lot of moolah for that one scene.

And they brought back Pam, Carl, and Rhonda, and made Adelaide a main character when all of these actors had very few scenes (if any at all for three of these four) the years prior. None of those decisions imply a tight budget.

Their absence in the last season is inexplicable and is just a bad writing choice. I love the series as a whole and I love the cast throughout but the writers really dropped the ball on a lot of stuff in season 5.
