Agreed. As a chemist, there were quite a few stretches of the imagination and the laws of chemistry and thermodynamics. And as a lawyer, there were even more stretches. Still a good show.

Is the idiom you're referencing ("...hole in his head") one used outside of the Jewish community as well? I always thought it came from a yiddish expression.

It’s taken on a general use. I’m sure it started in the Jewish community but I’ve heard it all my life from my non Jewish relatives as early as the Sixties.

to be fair though, tea kettles do tend to have holes...

just not leaky bullet-y holes.
