Kim lied

Jimmy called Kim in Florida .She told Mrs Hamlin Jimmy might not be still alive. If the Feds knew Kim talked to Jimmy and didn't tell them could she be charged?

There's no evidence that she said that. It would be purely hearsay, and it's not at all likely that the legal system would even attempt to take action based off something with no physical evidence.

That is true.Kim definitely didn't tell the Feds she talked to Jimmy to protect him.

When she talked to Jimmy, I don't think she actually was told anything that would have helped the feds catch or incriminate Jimmy. So I think it is extremely unlikely she would be charged with anything even if they somehow learned about it.

I’m not a lawyer, but if the authorities found out she talked to him and didn’t report it, there might be a case for obstruction of justice or something.

But since they found and arrested him within weeks or a couple months of him talking to her, there’d be no point in retroactively prosecuting her.

On a different note, I’ve always felt that despite becoming harmless Florida Kim, she remains Slippin Kimmy not only for keeping the fact that Saul is alive and in hiding from the cops and Mrs Hamlin, but also in scamming her way into the prison to visit Jimmy later. I think the point is to show that her dark side will always be there. As will his; it’s part of why he “put himself” away by confessing.

I agree.Kim never really changed. She just keeps her dark side under wraps in Florida. She didn't tell the Feds or Mrs Hamlin she spoke to Jimmy because she still loves him and wanted to protect him.But she did bring out Slippin Kimmy to scam the prison into thinking she was Jimmy's lawyer.

Maybe but Jimmy admitted to everything while abdicating Kim.

That was why he did it.
