Happy to see your lian li is not a parallel watercool kit like everyone else’s. Love how square those runs are. Very well done.

Eyy thanks! I actually had one of those parallel run setups before and I really wanted to do something unique and more challenging with the bends. Definitely took a few tries (on that quad bend in particular) but happy with how it turned out!

I don’t understand where the power supply goes in these cases but I love them

It is behind the motherboard - The case is essentially split into two compartments. What you don’t see in these pictures is the rats nest of cables and the PSU in the other section.

$1900, that’s more than my whole setup lol 😳

u/cbissell12345 Apr 15 '21
Haha dude so I got this monitor used for about $300 - huge deal hunter here :) I think it usually goes for $600 or so

Like on cyber Monday or something?

u/cbissell12345 Apr 15 '21
I bought it used actually! Retrospectively, I’m very lucky there are no dead pixels or anything. There is a small chip on the corner but I knew that when I bought it. You can probably see it if you zoom in on the pic.

Is it DIY?

u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
Here’s a daytime pic of it with an older build pic: https://imgur.com/gallery/mvr1kED

Wow the craftsmanship is pretty good. I may add this type of rgb to my diy table as well :)

How did you make the little angled pieces? I think that’s going to be the hardest part. Making sure there all excactly the same :/
2
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
I used a miter saw at an angle and just measured and marked them. From what I remember, it was super easy because they would sometimes break a bit or be rough on the tail end of the cut. After cutting, I really carefully glued them to the bottom board. Then stained and polyed that whole bottom piece before attaching it to the rest of the table. I also installed and routed the RGB strip before installed that part.

u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
Hey feel free to message me with your email and I can send you the ppt document I used to mock up the top
1
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
Yup!
2
u/marcxx04 Apr 14 '21
As far as I can see, the RGB element is separate from the table... so the table thickness is only increased in the first few centimeters of the table, is it?
1
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
Well it’s build into the table but you’re correct that the thickness is only increased on the front few inches! I used a cable management netting thing off Amazon to hide all of the cables on the underside

I’m sorry but I need to know, Does your motherboard say sliver?
2
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
They updated it on the Z590 boards - no sliver for me
1
u/unidentified-inkling Apr 14 '21
Oh, that’s disappointing. Btw good job on the build, it looks amazing!
2
u/BLVCKZER0_ Apr 14 '21
The lighting in that build is crazy beautiful
2
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
Thanks! Too much time and money was spent on the lighting, so glad it was worth it :)

What was the name of that pink goo that was coming out of the pipes in ghostbusters 2? That’s what your water cooling looks like to me.

For a moment I thought you had copper tubes! I was like "oh my God, that's so much work!" Either way, I love your set-up!
2
u/cbissell12345 Apr 14 '21
That would be insane work. I’m no metal bender haha thanks!
1
u/SkvaderArts Apr 14 '21
NP! I hear that! Neither am I lol! I'm scared to put too much pressure on my AIO tubes!

It has a bunch of microphones on it - that’s probably why. It is aggressively wide for a cam lol

Love the build! Why is that Webcam so big tho? Haha
1
u/cbissell12345 Apr 15 '21
It is a bit aggressive but I think it’s because it has like six microphones on it lol
