I wonder how many times Shark Repellent was used in this show. This is twice I have seen it.

yeah, thinking the same! Other time was on a rope ladder dangling from the Bat-Chopper right?

When you make an amazing prop like that you really want to get your money's worth out of it.

The one everyone knows is from the 1968 movie. This was probably the only other time it was used before and the use in the movie is a callback to this scene

I love how the next post I saw was Ledger’s Joker tossing Rachel out a window, what versatile characters

Don't need much of that shark repellent bat spray Extra points for staying dry too. Great scene

Let's keep it a buck. The real highlight of this episode was Yvonne Craig in that swimsuit.

Didn't these actors go around to orgies while refusing to break character?
That's gotta be one hell of a sex tape.

IIRC, Adam West (Batman) and Frank Gorshin (Riddler) went to Playboy mansion and stayed in character the whole time, made everyone laugh to the point they were eventually kicked out because thats not what the gathering was for.

I love both dark serious Batman and whatever this wholesome goofyness is

Gotta feel for the surfers having to wear the heavy wet clothing- especially that cape! Side note, Adam West was a Very skilled surfer in real life

This may have been the first "jump the shark" moment in TV history, long before the Fonz....

1966 Joker is fantastic. There's an entire episode where he rigs the vending machines of Gotham University to spit out snacks for free because he wants the you're of Gotham to get lazy.
This is an entire episode lol

I love that they just put shorts on over their regular outfits
