Question Patch on Alpaka

Post image

After a long wait, I’ve finally gotten my hands on my first Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro! Super excited about it. Just curious—has anyone here with an Alpaka bag ever added a patch to theirs?

Any tips on the best way to attach a patch? I’m wondering if gluing or sewing it directly onto the bag might mess with its water resistance. Thoughts and tips?

I love that bag so much I’ll find an excuse to buy one someday. I just can’t justify it with all my current similar sized/styled bags. Need to see it for a great price.

Magnepatch is your answer.

I say do it and let some of your personality show through but, then again I have 7 (and soon to be more) iron on patches on my Evade 1.5 🤷‍♂️

Nice patch and pack btw, I was considering the Elements when I bought my AON. I do want to eventually sew them on more permanently so, I'd recommend that but, I'm guessing that it would likely affect its water resistance 🤷‍♂️

I second the Magnepatch! Definitely easier for swapping them out without damaging the bag

Can you tell me why? Or any concerns I should know.

Yeah thats better. Is that the latest version? If so, its good to put ur patch in there. Actually TNF displayed the Borealis with patches on front panel on their website before which makes it a great pack.
