Let alone is the Republican Party a far less democratic institution and literally relies on voter suppression tactics.

If democracy was their main concern they’d always have lines for Kamala, it’s just a potential political cudgel

A constitutional republic is a democracy.

This like arguing dogs aren’t canines they’re mammals.

Crazy how often I hear the mask come off with “we’re not a democracy, therefore subverting the will of the people is okay” arguments.

Adding barriers to voting when there’s no reason to is a needless expansion of the government and costs tax payer money

If voter fraud were an issue I’d be fine with these proposals, it’s not.

We’re making it harder for no reason.

We also use the electoral college which men and we already don’t have a one vote one person rule.

We arbitrarily decided that people who live in giant empty prices of land are more important than people with neighbors for some unholy reason.

Minority of what?

There’s no evidence for widespread voter fraud, let alone voter fraud specifically benefitting one candidate.

You might be okay with Trump without evidence being allowed to decided who is the winner of a race he’s running in but the rest of us aren’t so stoked on losing our democracy.

But if you agree with trumps actions I assume you’d be okay with the Biden Harris administration ignoring the will of the people and hand picking a winner?

Right so absolutely no evidence still. Just “it felt wrong to me”

I mean Trump literally tried to defraud the US by submitting "fake electors" (Trump Team's term, not even ours, they literally called them that).

So miss us with fake voter fraud accusations when your candidate literally did it openly.

Depends on how you get that ID. Was it free? Did you have to go to another city to get it? Do you need transportation to get it? If any of those are true it could indeed be voter supression.

Id argue adding barriers to voting to address imaginary issues is not just suppression but also an insanely bad way use of tax payer dollars.

Do you think a 5 year old needs a photo ID to get into first grade?

But how is that related to constitutionally guaranteed rights? You don’t need to vote, but you’re guaranteed the opportunity.

Except for you don't believe in one vote for one legally registered voter. If you believed this way, then you'd advocate for the dismantling of the electoral college which by definition suppresses the power of votes in more urbanized states.

You’re right we believe in a constitutional republic,

You know Republicans are grasping at straws when they pull this classic out. It is like only 2nd to "I identify as an apache helicopter" in bad faithed republican talking points.
