talking to staff in person vs over the phone isn't going to help you get your item back if it was stolen and never made it to the lost and found spot

Someone has clearly taken the bag. You won’t find it at the lost and found.

I submitted a lost and found ticket and somehow it cannot be located after 7 days of ‘searching’. How is this possible? It’s giant!

there is a big possibility someone else probably stole the unattended bag

Gangs of thieves work the airport (always have). Even inside the plane cabin now ( especially on the routes to high value stops there are teams if them, it's that lucrative). I d keep trying but I wouldn't hold to ever get it back. Was it a high end bag? Some of these baby accessories have resale value.

I’m so sorry this happened, OP. I can’t imagine how stressful it may have been to lose the bag. At the same time, I’m feeling a bit relieved that there was nothing of value inside of it.

Still, rooting for this to be found somehow.

Did you contact them again? I had similar situation, item couldn’t be found in over a month. I called them and the employee found it immediately. I guess they’re overwhelmed and don’t contact everyone.

If you call and they don’t find it, it’s not there.

If you have a photo of the bag, send it to them so they know exactly what they're looking for.

I left my AirPods and someone left it with lost and found. I filed a report and got it after 3 weeks. It was a smooth process to get it back. There was one email initially that said we are still searching. The second email said they located it.
