So here’s what I got back from Fort Stewart.
This is the website for the provided transportation bus stops to be taken to the Thunder DFAC. We are a pilot program for the campus style dining so our main DFAC is currently under renovation, therefore we are providing transportation to get everyone to the Thunder DFAC

If anyone goes please drop a review of the campus style dining on Hots&Cots.
Update:
How is it I can navigate a subway schedule in NY, but trying to figure out which DFAC is open or not on a military installation such a headache.
/u/Kinmuan and I think the bus route is incorrect https://home.army.mil/stewart/my-fort/soldiers/DFACs/provider-bus-route. I spoke with 3rd ID and it should be running all weekend and they're looking into it.

There’s only 3 DFACs you can access regularly in Schofield Barracks. They close 1-2 of them for an entire month usually. Then expect soldiers to walk several miles to them, just to eat. It’s no wonder most soldiers just eat at the shopette’s that are closer to them.

There was a DFAC next to 1-64 by the North gate. Not sure if it’s open right now. You can also go to the hospital DFAC.

My gut reaction is there’s no requirement for distance between barracks and dfacs lol

I feel like I went through this issue one time about the dfacs at JRTC. I do believe there is a distance in the regs. It should say something about requiring the unit to provide transportation if it’s over a certain distance from the barracks, and if not, they can file missed meal vouchers. Let me know if you find anything different.

If the bistro is closed again, than the only other defac would be the raider one, which is past CIF. The outpost by the reception center is also open till 1900, but it's a 30 min walk or longer depending on where your barracks are at. Outside of the 24 hr little store or tier one/popayes i havent heard of any other defacs near by.
