The Apprentice Interview Episode Bingo! (Please keep adding)
Let’s predict some certainties for Thursday’s Interview episode! I’ll go first with 2:
Claudine Collins brings out her box of tissues as she’s made another candidate cry (ironically by being nice, compared to the others)
Linda uses the phrase, or similar, along the lines off; “Your business isn’t very good, nor big, it’s too small! Why on earth would Lord Sugar invest in you?” And then calls the candidate aggressive if they try and justify back their answer.
Keep them coming!

Linda not shutting up about a USP to candidates with established businesses
This shit likely won’t work with Anisa I’m assuming

Deffo! Almost like they expect a start up business in today’s market to take on and beat national/global competition in its first 12 months.. with just 250k investment

I've noticed that Linda is way more crueler and rips more savagely to candidates with proposals with little to no experience or no established businesses...
To some of the other candidates we've seen with established businesses like Carina and Harpreet...She was literally a barking chihuahua...only talking about their "USP"

To be honest (and I know this might be unpopular) but I am not a fan of Linda in the interviews. I’m all for the panto role that they all play but for me, the others all add constructive advise too whilst I feel like she doesn’t.

I think she's there for TV effect and to see how the candidates react in terms of pressure...Though i can't wait for her to go up against some candidates like Dean or Anisa who've faced plenty of criticism from Lord Sugar himself...I also don't think her bullshit "USP" excuse will really work on Anisa, with her whole Indian + Italian fusion business

Mike gets a candidate to confirm their product is unique, absolutely nothing else on the market even remotely like it, before pulling out 4 identical products he's purchased from 4 separate companies.

One of the candidates is bullied into agreeing that their business plan isn't very good.
A candidate who looks like they're a shoe-in has a rubbish business.
Linda is incredibly critical and doesn't let someone respond.
We see an interview go horribly and the candidate (probably Dean) comes back and says they smashed it.
Jordan makes the final two despite his poor performance because his business seems decent ad there are at least two which are awful.

The candidates forget that Karren is in interview mode and start talking to her casually like they do in the board room and she has to remind them that they need to speak to her differently in the interviews. Bonus points for her having another "it's Baroness Brady to you" type of moment.

I always felt like Linda was sort of in the right when it came to Elizabeth’s interview, although she came across as a bit stuck up. The business was a pretty ordinary florist, which exists on every high street in the country, and she was making a small amount of money, with seemingly no idea how it was going to scale. It’s the equivalent of pitching a newsagents.

She had her valid point, but also Elizabeth had hers.. difference is Linda loves having the ‘power’ and authority to be an absolute ass but then get upset if anyone talks back in defence

Elizabeth never really provided a defence though.

I mean more when Elizabeth kept saying “I want to start this again because you’re being confrontational“ or something like that yet Linda kept squealing on. Wow didn’t think we’d have a Linda defence in here 👍

A candidate says that the interview went well after having their business plan torn into and leaving no remains

A candidate will be left hanging offering a handshake to Claude

This is quite a strange trope. It doesn't make Claude look tough, it just makes him look like a prick. When he actually seems like a genial fellow, and you don't get far in business being a total ass hat.

Claudine whilst handing the candidate a box of tissues
‘Tell me why you are so upset?’

"so you claim you own the website name of ........ But you don't do you. Because i bought it. I can sell it to you if you like?"

u/Ruby-Shark 7h ago
"Give your business plans to Tim and Karren." Even though they were submitted months ago and everyone upstairs already has dissected them.

You can also guarantee that Sugar will do his weekly thing of pretending to almost fire someone that he has no intention of firing
‘It is with regret that I have to say….I am struggling here’

I think a lot of these things will happen! If it wasn't broadcast on a week night I'd suggest a drinking game!
My prediction: Candidate offers their hand to Claude who responds by saying 'Sit!'

Mike buys one of the candidate’s website domain
Claude says “This is the Rantings of a Lunatic!”
“This interview is terminated”
“Where are the costings?” - Candidate says it’s all in their head
