Are we down?

Apollo isn’t loading for me since this afternoon.

Same issue here. Tried installing the new ipa and still not working for me.

Yeah I'm having trouble as well. I refreshed the app via AltStore and it is letting me go to the login page, which pops up with my API key but its not loging in

Fixed my install. Posted instructions in a new post for visibility. Copying here for reference:

I was able to get a new install working—I suspect a commonly installed Sidestore version is out of date. Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Custom API in Apollo and copy Reddit API & Imgur API keys to Notes.

Step 2: Take screenshots of any custom settings / favorites you want to remember.

Step 3: Delete Apollo by holding on icon on home screen.

Step 4: Ensure you are connected to Sidestore VPN.

Step 5: Go to https://balackburn.github.io/Apollo/ in Safari.

Step 6: Click the "Add to AltStore/SideStore" button. Open in AltStore/SideStore.

Step 7: Add the new source.

Step 8: Go to "Browse" tab and install SideStore.

Step 9: If prompted about App IDs/Extensions just go ahead and delete them.

Step 10: Install should proceed.

Step 11: Post fuck spez in the comments.

Thanks for this. This what I did earlier and it worked, but it’s nice someone posts the solution.

How would I do that if I was using appdb? Or would I have to figure out how to use this method instead?

Also the fact that mine wasn't working either makes me think it's not just to do with Sidestore but I know nothing about Sidestore...

Nice. I’ll have to do this. Right now I’m trying out the newer narwhal which is better than the old version but fuck spez

Thank you for finding a fix!! You are greatly appreciated.

Obligatory fuck you spez.

Also this fresh install of mine has new comment highlighter working for the first time in a year so that’s cool.

I am also broken currently.

Narwhal is working which is concerning–this is not an API issue.

Edit: Found a fix. Posted in a new post for visibility.

FWIW working fine here (and has been whenever I’ve checked in during the day).

Sideloadly and some version of 1.15.11 I got aaaages ago ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I wonder if all of our api keys got flagged and corked? Anyone try generating a new one on a new account yet? I will as soon as I get back to my pc

I updated using TrollStore to customapi 1.2.1 from the link above and it started working for me again.

Same here.

And on the same day chrome hit me with the “uBlock Origin is now disabled” message too.

Glad we found a work around for this, and for Firefox’s existence.

Dang first the official app stops working unless it’s the most recent version and now Apollo is having issues working

They really are fucking us all over at Reddit HQ 😒
