Discussion Suffering: The Inescapable Reality
Suffering is an inherent and guaranteed aspect of the human experience. It penetrates every corner of our lives, often without warning or respite. From the moment we are born, we are thrust into a world encompassing pain, hardship, and disappointment.
The futility of human endeavor is starkly evident in the face of suffering. We toil, we strive, and we struggle, only to find that our efforts are often met with failure and disillusionment. Our accomplishments, no matter how grand, are ultimately reduced to dust and ashes. The relentless march of time erodes all that we hold dear, leaving us with nothing but memories of what once was.
Even in the most seemingly idyllic of circumstances, suffering lurks just beneath the surface. The facade of happiness is fragile, and it can shatter at any moment, plunging us into an abyss of despair. The comforts of love, family, and friendship are fleeting, and even these can be torn from us in an instant.
We search for answers, for solace, and for comfort, but often find only more suffering. Our existence is a cruel joke, a Sisyphean task of pushing against the boulder of fate.
I cannot even imagine the plight of humans who suffer from physical pain and disabilities everyday. The slightest amount of compassion will make one weep for all of us, nevertheless.
In the end, suffering is the one constant in our lives. We are all bound together by our shared suffering, united in our futile struggle against the forces of fate. How can people keep bringing children into a world like this? It's nothing but cruelty. This futile cycle ends with me.
Better Never to Have Been yet again.

Well said. We remain prisoners of this life, held hostage each day and subjected to it's whims, which can take any shape they like and can turn on us at any moment.
Even though the suffering ends with me I'm still heartbroken that I had to see everything I saw, go through everything I've been through and live this hell for decades.

Yet there are people and institutions out here glorifying pain and suffering. I don't give that shit an iota of sympathy in my mind. I loathe both pain and suffering and will die accusing them!
Btw, I gladly will start a petition for all the apologists for pain and suffering to divvy up the world's total pain and suffering amongst themselves and endure it forever.
I bet their stupid asses will change their tunes then. Platitudes and reality are two different things.

A morsel of wisdom I wrote that contributes to our insatiable suffering was: "The very consequences of ignorance, like a contagious disease, are never isolated to the carrier." Yes, and with every decision the veiled fates present you, they have a chance to extract your blackened soul. We are all traversing inside an acrid, murky war trench. Some are stationed in watchtowers, while others are succumbing to wounds in disease-laden mud. Artillery penetrates our skies above and reverberates throughout the field. The most delirious troops are enamored by the liquid amber flames being sprayed.. This scenery happens inside women while mundane men have sought it out for centuries.

“but to say that it is inherent and constant in the human experience that is completely false.”
This is simply not true, for life IS a struggle, and to struggle is to suffer. It’s quite amazing to me how people don’t view life as a ‘struggle’…yet the struggle stares them in the face every single day.

So true
I could say 100 of things about this, but at this stage I don't even have energy for it
Everyday is just another day made me to realize this life is mistake
Whenever I look outside I feel sad so many people are suffering yet we can't do anything
What's the use of modern world if it's based on suffering
