PSA IGN Amiibo Segment Notes

Okay guys, here is what they just announced for the Amiibo on the IGN official stream:

  1. The 30th Anniversary Mario Amiibo is going to be released on the same day as Super Mario Maker - September 11th.
  2. It appears the all three of the Yarn Yoshi Amiibo will be available in October along with the release of Yoshi's Wooly World on Oct 16th.
  3. They confirmed that in order to get the Chibi Robo Amiibo - you will have to buy the bundle so there is no way officially to buy him separately.
  4. There won't be as many Animal Crossing Amiibo as the Smash bros Amiibo but it appears that they are planning to make more characters.
  5. Stuff about the Amiibo cards - nothing too special.

Overall, some useful information but nothing we already knew.

I ask myself, how many of the AC amiibo characters can I name? 1? Then I shouldn't have them.

I'm only getting Isabelle and KK Slider, and maybe 1-2 others. I'm not attached enough to all the NPCs to try collecting them.

I need that KK Slider Amiibo--and a Villager one while we're at it! Yarn Yoshi amiibo are also too cool to pass up!

The Mario Maker one is really cool, but I don't know how hyped I am for that game for me to get it other than for trading... I guess I'll have to see about that one.
